Today we have the privileged to welcome the Plague Of Happiness to our White Room studio courtesy of Hafizi as their photographer. Its great to meet all of them in person. They are cool and down to earth people and always up for any photography challenge for their photo shoot. They had their fun session in our studio (well, at least that’s what we felt ~ hahaha! Everybody was laughing like nobody’s business throughout the session)
Time is quite shot to have a chat with them but they told us that they are following this ‘Radio Rosak’ tour throughout Malaysia along with Estranged, OAG, Bunk Face and etc. To the readers out there who is down for Ska Punk music and of course Plague Of Happiness fans you could check out their updates via their My Space Music ~ Plague Of Happiness

BABY PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS
Baby portraiture is one of our favorite subject at this time around. Or should we say a ‘gateway’ subject beside wedding. For a fulltime photographer, having a second interest helps you to stay focus and get you always in line to always pick up new things (creative angles, colors etc.) Well, at least for us both.
Playing with a TLC subject we shoot out with strictly available light only. Some don’t understand that babies are delicate subject so playing with flash is a NO NO for us. A quick 30 minutes shoot can give us a quick exercise .. hahaha! We could seriously sweat from all the playing and chasing.
Our nephew, Irfan Rayyan who is 8 month young is by far our most favorite baby subject. He have 4 milk tooth now and looks sooooo cute every time he make an attempt to use it when he’s chewing. A quick tips, in this type of photography; learning your subject is the first rule that you must follow before you could even hold up your camera in front of their face. Set up your mental image (what and how you want your picture to look like) before involving them. Pre-visualize everything. When you get those in your head, test all the shots without them first and when you get the desired results, then only you place your subject there. At this time around, you have to act fast before he got moody or uncomfortable.
TEXTURE
Texture is not everybody’s cup of cofee and we personally are not a big fan of texture too but we just had fun experimenting it and adding it wherever we find applicable and now we’re having fun trying it at some of our wedding images. Its kindda interesting to see with the additional and overlaying of those texture can give different impact and mood to your photos.
PORTRAITURE | PRE-WED NURUL & HERI
We love post portrait session after a wedding but we have a very limited time to do that but when one of our customers opted for a pre-wed photos we say, WHY NOT? Let’s give it a go. It rained at first but they are cool enought to get their photos taken in the rain.
We had a fun session throughout the evening, well we hope they did too despite the stiffness initially. Here is one of the image taken yesterday, we are out of hand now. Will upload more soon, not to worry.

VENTURING INTO F&B BUSINESS
Feels like ages we haven’t been able to scribble anything here. Thanks for still droppin by at our site and leaving your shoutout to us. We’re seriously busy coping up with the album making and few other things that needed a careful thoughts, we’re venturing into an F&B outlets now and loving it too. It is a very interesting part time job for us. Its like the old saying ‘don’t put all your eggs in the same basket’ so we’re venturing and diversifying! We have 9 outlets at this moment and rumors are saying that they’re going to open up another 2 branches by end of next month in Kl and soon another one in Sabah. One International Outlets has been realized in Jakarta last month and the best news is we’re going to fly off to Singapore to witness the opening of another one International Outlets in Far East Plaza, Orchard Road, Singapore.
We’re still looking for BUSINESS PARTNERS, so if anyone interested to know more (with no strings attached) or to make this as a part time business (like we do and you could easily earn an extra income around 7k a month beside your full time job pay) please call or email us to schedule an appointment but we could only accommodate those appointment starting next month. We’re fully booked this whole month.

Farid & Hani was a lovely couple. Farid was the shy/quiet one and Hani is the direct opposite .. hihihi! Before their big day, we had the chance to meet up with each other and we talked about everything under the sun. From the conversation, Faiz found out that her former teacher is one of Hani’s Aunt but Hani in the other hand was so excited sharing about everything that she could possibly remember. Hahaah! We took off .. err .. wait.. she and Lam hit off in just a minute. Dua-dua suka bercerita.
During the Solemnization, true enough Faiz got re-united with the ever coolest English teacher (Mind my grammar teacher) Teacher couldn’t possibly remember all of her student but the DEGIL-est student like me .. who wouldn’t, am I right?
Back to the pengantin, despite the Farid seriously ‘gementar’ session during the akad nikah session, he manage to get over it at one go. *Clap! *Clap

The post portraiture session is a really a quick session but full of laughter. Out of nowhere, Farid the shy guy turn to be the model of the show and Hani the other way around.

Last week, beside the wedding, our little baby “ambassador” went back to his Atok’s place down south. After recovering from measles, he has his first baby tooth growth and now very busy crawling up and about. Atok dia have to re-arrange all the furniture inside the house to make way for his movement. When he is around, the house tu dah macam orang nak buat tahlil. Lengang aje.
This coming Saturday, he will be 8 months young. He didn’t fancy crawling that much though, ada aje yang kene pegang dia nak bertatih (leaning to walk) He loves to sing now. Dada Dada everywhere he goes and Yes! He still love to put everything that he can grab inside his mouth, entah kenapa. Latest victim was my handphone ~ yang agak dah tak boleh nak charge sekarang ni. Manja dan miangnya jangan cerita, kesian Lam asyik kene buli dengan Irfan aje (mati kutu dengan Irfan aje ~ hihihihi~) We brought him to the tailor the other day for his very first baju Melayu for Hari Raya. Waktu the tailor nak ukur badan dia, melompat-lompat dia kegelian with the measuring tapes all around his body.

The other day, his Atok bake some chocolate cupcakes and he could sit with his Atok at the kitchen for hours and help himself with the chocolates. Ini budak sungguh suka chocolate, blame Lam and he still enjoys bullying his Mak Cu every now and then. Hahaha! Tu la siapa suruh kecik sangat. And it is seriously hard to get a decent pic of him.
Time really flies, it seems just like yesterday he’s born into this world.

Haluuuu! Really sorry for the late update, Faiz is having a serious back and neck pain dan degil juga taknak ke clinic but today we must start the uploading process. Simpan lama-lama dah tak best pulak nanti right?
Quite a process juga for us to get to know Ita & Ajib in person when the guard held us at the guard house for quite some time. Kalah polis woo cara dia interrogate. Bila tak tahu nak jawab apa lagi, Lam pick up the phone and called up Ita, we dare not ask what she said but then the interrogation stop right away.. hihihi!
Ita & Ajib turn out to be a cool people to be with same goes as their friends who assisted them all the way. Ita’s family is like a Von Trapp family (in The Sound Of Music) they can really sing. Only that they didn’t sing a Do Re Me, they sang a decent Oh Fatimah .. Ohh so cool!
It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Some of the picture during the event, enjoy!
P/S: Ita, it turns out my Mom and Dad knew your Dad when I was browsing through some pics to upload. Mr. JR ~ that’s what they called him. That explain the big Pengetua crowd all the way from Batu Pahat. What a small world.

Tomorrow we shall be going to Jb for the 060609 wedding celebration. We think this is the hottest wedding date for the year 2009 until we have to disappoint not less than 7 brides that wanted to hire us for their occasion. At night time, we are going to accommodate another one bride at our hometown for her Solemnization session. She moved her date and then shift it to a night time just to get our service. Thanks you for trusting our service.
We did some homework (a must), replying emails and getting all the shooting gears ready and then have a short meeting to finalize few things about the PHOTO CLINIC. We’re thinking of canceling the event but since there are few request for us to organize it, we’re thinking why not give it a try by rescheduling the date. It is not finalize yet because we have to get certain numbers of people to get us kick start this program or else its a NO-NO. Will re-announce it again soon.
Right after we ended the short meeting at 3 (not so soon pun) we head on straight home to recharge. Wedding is a long event so we need to get ourselves fully charge and be ready to give a 101%. So, that’s it for today. Have a great weekend holiday.
Note: Tomorrow is Agong’s birthday too and little Irfan will be here celebrating his holidays with his Atok. His Atok on the other hand has been excitedly busy spring cleaning the house since last week for his arrival. A new issue today when she kick start the air-cond. ‘Something not right, it doesn’t function like the usual, I think we need to get a new set” (Tiba-tiba air-cond yang dah ‘berumur’ pun jadi masalah sebab cucu dia nak balik. Selama ni okay aje pulak)

This wedding celebration marked our very first wedding assignment for this year. It was held during the month of January and it is our most memorable wedding celebration. Both of them really took the time to plan the event as beautiful as they could imagine and we had the honor to work with other professional team in their respective field.
Inn used to be my bus mate during Primary school and as far as I could remember we fought a lot that time. When we received the invitation card from Razz PA, Cha I straight away remember her. It was like a blast from the past. When we arrived there for the Solemnization, Inn was quite surprise to see me

The next day, during the Reception session, we figure that we need a bigger team to get a better coverage. There are a lot of things going on in, out, left, right and around the house. So, we called up our sifoo Didiz to help out. Alhamdulillah, everything turns out well.

Last but not least, post portraiture session held at the old house. At first, Inn was quite hesitant to get in but being Mr. Cool, Razz leads the way. We must applaud them, though they are really tired they put up their best smile throughout the post portraiture session.

We set our compass to JB today without any concrete goals. We just wanted to clear out our mind and generate new ideas and staying away from a Facebook Farm Town addiction. Its crazy! Don’t get yourself near that. Seriously (sambil buat muka serius) My sister could pull over at the highway R&R just to harvest her crops. How crazy is that or we are among those crazy bunch only?
Back to the story, its funny sometimes when you don’t set up any goals and yet you get back quite a lot of things back in return just by talking to a friend or maybe because we are in the same working field so the ideas will flow rationally or irrationally.
Beside that we had so much fun .. or in other words, dia ketawakan kita and kita ketawakan dia balik. Crazy? You bet! Hahaha! Anyway, thanks for your time mate. Jangan lupa teruskan usaha ’saving’ anda. We’re looking forward to go to Terengganu. The last time we went there was in the year of 2007. Its been a while. Sila lah consider .. hihihi.
On the way back home we drop by at the Baskin Robin for the We Dip You Drip ice-cream.

New blog. After changing themes and address we decided to hire a professional to help us restructure our blog site so that we could customize what we want and etc.Thanks to the people that has helped us to make this happen. Waq for squeezing his creative juice idea and taking time to help us with the designing process and Rudy, the man who power up this blog with his ‘magic touch’. He came highly recommended.
